I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. 1 Corinthians 3:2
Paul when writing to the Corinthian Church uses 2 descriptions for Christian people. He describes some as being like babies who can only swallow milk and others who are ready for the roast beef dinner. We want to be Christians who grow in Christ. We grow in Christ by reading good Christian books. We continue to grow by reading more and more about God and His Word! The meat that Paul is speaking of can be found on our church book shelf. The book shelf is located in the church hall beside the kitchen.
On it you will find bibles, commentaries on the book of the bible that we are working through in our services, biographies and children’s books. If there is a book you would like, please speak to the Rev. Moore. If you would like to buy a book, please take the book home and then place an envelope in the collection plate with the name of the book on the outside with the money inside. Why not use the bookshelf for your friends and family when you’re looking for that extra stocking filler or birthday present.
